LARRY BROWN MIGHT PLAY THE PALACE IN DECEMBER

The NBA schedule is not out yet, but mark Dec. 2 on your calendar. That is when Larry Brown and the New York Knicks are scheduled to play the Pistons at the Palace for the first time. But don't bother purchasing tickets.
My guess is Brown won't show. He is scheduled to visit the Mayo Clinic for more test in December. Why not have them in early December to freshen up for Christmas and of course miss this emotion-packed game at The Palace.
You can also look for the Pistons to play on the road Christmas Day during the NBA's unofficial kick off to the regular season. The conference finalists will play in a doubleheader. The Pistons will play San Antonio or Dallas from the Western Conference. The team that does not play the Pistons will play the Miami Heat.

I can't wait. I would love to see Larry back at the Palace. No telling what would happen. Maybe another malice at the Palace.

I hope Isiah puts his magic hands on Larrys bladder and miraculously heals him in time for the game.

While Isiah is here, perhaps he can touch Bill Davidson's ears with a "thinner" or "smaller" incantation.

I can't wait for you to come back to the inferno. All due respect, mike is great, but you guys, much like the pistons, are a true team. (awww).

I cannot wait to return. But you must understand we need time off and the summer is the best opportunity. We need to recharge our batteries. Mike will be leaving for a few days and I will go solo until he returns.
This way we will be ready for a big fall and winter -- when it really counts.

I like Mike a lot, but without you to balance him and keep him in check, he gets outta hand. And we gotta listen to MSU slappy hour.

As far as LB goes, I would not be suprised if he chickened out of the first game here. He's gonna get booed like crazy.

I wonder what the Pistons new theme will be now that Larry will have the Knicks, "Playing the Right Way."

Perhaps:

* Life without Larry
* It Wasn't Larry...It Was Us...REALLY
* Back to...Playing the Wrong Way
* Will We Ever Get Respect
* The Ball Does Lie
* Darko Darko Where Forth are Thou Darko
* NO SIR!!!!!!
* If We Can't Flip the Switch... We Must Switch the Flip

Looks like the NBA collective bargaining agreement has been finalized.

Let the free agent market signings begin. Will the Pistons get something done, or are the still traumatized by the LB fiasco?

All I can say about this collective bargain agreement is that,"it's a sad day for talented athletes that have the ability to make that jump from HS to the NBA." I don't agree with it.

The beneficiaries will be the NCAA. They will squeeze every dime and nickel they can out of these athletes. This whole thing is a shame.

I just walked back in the door. From running some errands I happened to be listening to E. Pate. I was refreshing to hear someone lay it down on a few topics that I commented on.

One, the bogus nature of the age limit in the new NBA contract.

Two, Darko Milicic and what a worthless piece of work he is.

Not to my surprise, you had a number of callers coming in with interesting points of view. Very interesting to say the least.

They are running a 64 man tournament to determine the worst person on ESPN. quite funny when you read through all the mock interviews and pregame talk.
